The 1883 season in Canadian Rugby Football Union (Canadian Football) featured two separate Unions: Ontario and Quebec. Toronto Argonauts won the Final 9-7 against the Ottawa Football Club, having defeated the University of Toronto in the Playoffs. Ottawa FC had eliminated Hamilton Tigers.
