A match was organised for the end of July 1994, in Trinity House, Lusk, Co. Dublin, between the inmates of the detention centre for young offenders and Ballymena Wolfhounds, the Northern Ireland Junior American League team. The six-a-side match was to be played behind bars, with the Trinity team put together and trained by the Wolfhounds Coach for the previous two months.
