History
Blue Devils were one of the first of the “new” teams to be created in the Irish Baseball League, having played their first season in 2001. They won no matches in their second season forfeiting 6, but put in a much better display in 2003 winning 4 games and only forfeiting one. 2004 was to be their last season with the Blue Devils winning a team-record 5 games, but again forfeiting too many, five this time as they finished 8th of 10 teams. They had finished 7th in both the two previous seasons, although there were only 7 and 8 teams in 2002 and 2003 respectively. The Blue Devils folded after the 2004 season. They had played out of Corkagh Park in Clondalkin, Dublin 22, then the only fully-developed Baseball Field in Ireland and where nearly all games were played.
