Report

Dunmore from Co. Galway won both age categories in the Connaught Community Games Chess Finals held in Ballinasloe, Co. Galway on 27th April 2019. Elphin of Co. Roscommon won two of the Draughts competitions with CDC (also Roscommon) and Coolaney of Sligo winning the other two grades. The winners went on to represent Connaught in the ALDI National Finals in the University of Limerick from 24th to 26th May 2019.

Turlough Towers won the Girls Final and FBD Roads the Boys with the two teams progressing to represent Connaught in the ALDI National Finals in the University of Limerick from the 24th to 26th of May 2019.

Oranmore Maree of Galway did likewise with the Under 13 Finals, winning both Boys and Girls as well as the Under 11 Mixed. The winners represented Connacht in the ALDI Community Games National Finals in the University of Limerick frm 24th to 26 May 2019.
