Report

Despite losing to Galway Women’s U17’s in the two previous encounters in the Football Association of Ireland Women’s Under 17 League (the first ever Women’s U17 National League in Soccer in Ireland), Shelbourne women’s came out on top in the 2018 Final, with player of the match Whelan, Shelbourne’s captain, getting on the scoresheet in the 2-0 victory.

Galway Women’s Under 17’s made mo mistake the following year, going through the Group Stage second to Shelbourne, but finishing top of the second half League Stage, and then triumphing 3-1 over Wexford Youths U17 in the Final.
