Recap

A Ouellette (Two Rushing Touchdowns) and B Bede (Three Field Goals, Two Convert Kicks and One Rouge (Single) were the heroes for Toronto Argonauts scoring 12 points each, and accounting for all the Argos points between them as Toronto ended Winnipeg Blue Bombers dreams of a dynasty with a close 24-23 victory in Regina, Saskatchewan.

The regning Grey Cup holders Winnipeg were hoping for a three-peat but went down to A Ouellette’s five yard touchdown run and B Bede’s successful convert kick with less than four minutes remaining. The Blue Bombers had scored through two touchdowns from Quarterback D Prukop and a 102-yard punt return for Touchdown by J Grant, the longest in Grey Cup history as well as a Field Goal and two successful Convert Kicks by M Liegghio, however it was not to be as the Double Blues of Toronto took home the 109th Grey Cup.
