A number of Independent Basketball Organisations exist in Ireland, running Competitions separate to Basketball Ireland and its Associated Bodies.
These include Mixed Basketball Organisations in Dublin, Macra (The Farmers Organisation), Steetball Tournaments in Belfast (4v4 Basketball) and Community Games (Underage National and County Tournaments associated with Community Centres and Summer Activities Community Organisations)
