Report

The University of Limerick Vikings played in three preseason Bowls in Dingle, in the Co. Kerry Gaeltacht. In the first match in 2009 they played Philadelphia Blue Flame, a team of firefighters and policemen who play in the National Services League in the USA, losing 0-22. In 2010 and 2011 they beat Cork Admirals, Munster rivals, in what was called the Dingle Classic, and dubbed the Gaeltacht Bowl by players in the third year.
