Shamrock Bowl Champions University of Limerick Vikings lost 0-22 in the first game of American Football played in the Gaeltacht areas. Held as part of the Paudie O’Se Dingle Tournament, a GAA festival, the UL Vikings played the Philadelphia Blue Flame, a team of both Police Officers and Firemen from the Philadelphia area of Pennsylvania, who played in National Public Service League which comprises teams of police and fire services from all over USA.
