Irish American Football Association / Sky Sports Schools Flag Football 2015

On the invitation of Jack Lawlor, a second year student at Presentation College, Bray, South Dublin Panthers players Conor McGrath, Dave Edwards, Stephen Kearns, and Sam Kidd, introduced the students to Flag Football on Tuesday, the 24th of March 2015.

The initiative was part of the Sky Sports programme to introduce minority sports to schools, and the four Panthers put the students through their paces. At the end of the session, the students put what they had learnt into a game of “Burkey Ball”, a form of Flag Football, that was a favourite among the South Dublin Panthers.
