Report

The University of Limerick Vikings beat the Cork Admirals 44-18 to win the Preseason Dingle Classic for the third year in-a-row. The game, dubbed the Gaeltacht Bowl by players, was played at the Corca Duibhne Rugby Grounds as part of the Paidi O’Se Tournament which features as its main attraction Men’s and Ladies Gaelic Football tournaments.

The Tullamore Phoenix of the DV8 Development League also played two joint training sessions and scrimmage matches in preseason 2011, against Dublin Dragons and West Dublin Rhinos.
