Report

Park Centre Bandits, from Burgess Hill, and Ealing Eagles met in the Junior Gridiron League Youth Bowl in 1993 after both finished the regular season on 7-1 records. The JGL was a Youth Two Touch League for 15-18 year olds with teams in the North and South of England. This League was a South East England League with the other teams being Kent Knights, Kent Panthers and Worthing Guardians.

The Ealing Eagles triumphed 44-0 in the JGL Youth Bowl Mark Zaki destroying the Park Centre defense with three touchdown catches. The MVP Wide Receiver teamed up with Quarterback Chris Miles, who threw five touchdowns in all to end the dreams of the Bandits in their inaugural season. The Bandits quarterback had a nightmare, throwing seven interceptions, one of which was returned for a TD.
