The Ladies Gaelic Football Association runs All-Ireland Championships and National Football Leagues at Club and County level in Ireland. It is a branch of the GAA that organises Ladies Gaelic Football in Ireland, with 32 County Associations affiliated to it.
The top Club players have the opportunity to represent their county in the All-Ireland Championships and National Football League. The National Football League is run over the first half of the year with the 32 counties playing in four divisions of eight according to ability, with promotion and relegation at the end of each season. The All-Ireland Championships take place over the second half of the season, and are played in Provincial Championships (Connacht, Leinster, Munster and Ulster) before an All-Ireland Semi-Final and Final series.
