Scottish Shinty

Shinty is the Scottish Gaelic version of Hurling and has been played in the Scottish  Highlands and Islands since the Middle Ages.

It is 12 a side as opposed to 15 a side in Hurling and currently consists of a 6 division Men’s League as well as a Women’s League and a University League, with several Underage categories too.

There is a Hurling-Shinty International Rules variation on the two sports with a 14 a side match played every year between Ireland and Scotland.

Below you will find links to the Results and Tables of various competitions.
