Report

The Under 19 A Boys All-Ireland Cup Schools Cup has been won 4 times since 1992 by St. Fintan’s High School Sutton (Dublin) and St. Malachy’s College (Belfast). It has also been won twice by St. Aidan’s CBS, St. Vincent’s and Colaiste Eanna Ballyroan (all Dublin).

About

The Basketball Ireland Post-Primary Schools Cup is run on an All-Ireland knockout basis for schools from the beginning of the competition, as opposed to the League which is run on a regional basis with an All-Ireland phase at the end. In the 1990s it was the Schools Basketball Association of Ireland which ran it, and it is now under the direct stewardship of Basketball Ireland.

The All-Ireland Cup is the highlight of the Schools Basketball Calendar, and is run at Under-19 and Under-16 Grades, with an A, B & C Competition inn both boys and girls for schools of different sizes.
