History: Formed in 1999 as a Flag Football Team, the University of Limerick Vikings were founder members of the reformed IAFL in 2001. In 2003 the Vikings briefly dropped down to Division 2, a 8v8 Development League in order to rebuild, posting an 0-3 Wins-Losses Record.
