Report
Dublin City Hurricanes won the A League Final 2 games to 1 in the three game series with League Pennant winners Mariners. All three games were won by 9 or more runs, with Hurricanes winning the first 14-4, before Mariners levelled the series with a 19-11 victory. Hurricanes took the title with a 16-5 win in the deciding game.
Mariners had won the League Pennant on an 11-7 record, one game ahead of the Dublin City Hurricanes, with Ashbourne Giants taking the third playoff spot with 8 wins, one ahead of Dublin Spartans, in what proved to be a very competitive season, which was anyone’s for the taking.
