Report
Ireland finished in 13th and last place in the FIBA Europe Basketball 2016 U20 B European Championships, losing all six games they played. After a tough opening fixture against eventual winners Slovenia (losing 57-85), Ireland went down heavily against Montenegro (41-81), thus putting the Irish Women in the 9-13th Classification Group, where they lost to Bulgaria (51-73), Ukraine (55-69) and then another big loss in their final game, 24-68 to Israel.
