History
_____________________________________________________________
Following on from the successful introduction of the IAFL-1 Conference in 2013, the IAFL-2 Conference was added by the Irish American Football Association as a third level in 2014 for newer clubs entering the sport to gain experience before moving on to the IAFL-1 Conference.
Tyrone Titans would win the first IAFL-2 Bowl, defeating Dundalk Mavericks 20-7, and there would be another Northern winner the following year when Belfast trojans 2nds team won 48-0 against South Kildare Soldiers. Donegal Derry Vipers would make it three-in-a-row for Ulster sides in 2016 when they defeated Wexford Eagles 33-29 in a clash of the only undefeated teams in the division [7] . Meath Bulldogs would end the dominance of Ulster teams in 2017, defeating Antrim Jets 40-0 [10] .
The division would be merged with IAFL-1 for the 2018 season.
