Biography: Duncan O’Mahony was born in Kilkenny, Ireland, and starred at UBC in College, where he was named CIAU All-Canadian in 2000. He entered the CFL draft in 2001, where he was selected by the Calgary Stampeders. He played three years in Calgary before signing for BC Lions in 2004, where he played a further two seasons. He missed the 2006 season after going missing for three days, leaving his luggage at Calgary Airport, which was due to personal issues, according to reports. He returned to the CFL in 2007, playing again for the Calgary Stampeders, recording 51 punts for 2158 yards (avg: 42.3) with a long of 65 yards, and also scored three singles. He punted six times for 221 yards in the 2007 CFL West Semi-Final at Saskatchewan. He was traded to Edmonton Eskimoes in 2008. Reference: [16][17][18]
