Founded in 1987 in Tallaght. They won the Shamrock Bowl in 1993, 1994 and 1995, the first over Dublin rivals, the Celts. Disbanded after losing the Shamrock Bowl in 1996

Career Record: (W-L-T) 12-7-0 / Regular Season 12-6-0 / Post-Season 0-1-0

History: Played in the first full IAFL season in 1987, and in the Combined Gridiron League of Great Britain and Ireland (CGL) in 1989, reaching the playoffs in 1987 before losing to eventual Shamrock bowl champions Dublin Celts, and posting a winning record both seasons. Disbanded acrimoniously after Pre-Season in 1990.

Career Record: (W-L-T) Regular Season: 2-12-1

History: Were the first team in Northern Ireland, and the second in Ireland as a whole, after the Dublin Celts [4] . Played in the first game between two Irish Clubs, a Two-Touch game against the Tyrone Tornadoes in 1985.

Played in the Northern Ireland American Football Association Flag League in 1985-86 before playing in the first two full Irish American Football League seasons in 1987 and 1988. they won two games in 1987, and managed just one tie in 1988. They sat out 1989, before playing again in the Irish League in 1990. In 1991 they merged with Carrickfergus Cougars to form the Newtownabbey Warriors.

Were reformed by former players in 2001, but only played two Flag Football games before folding again [6] .

Honours: Shamrock Bowl Champions 1986, 1992. / Shamrock Bowl Runners-Up 1987, 1992. / IAFL-1 Conference Division Champions 2017 / DV8 Development League Champions 2009

History: Formed in 1986, the Craigavon Cowboys immediatley established themselves, winning Shamrock Bowl I 6-2 over the Dublin Celts. They lost to the same opposition in Shamrock Bowl II. They again lost to the Celts in Shamrock Bowl V, before beating them in Shamrock Bowl VII in 1992.

They disbanded in 1994 with players going on to form the Lurgan Area Raides and Portadown Panthers before being resurrected in 1998. They played in DV8 8-Man competitions from 2003 to 2009 winning the DV8 Development League in 2009, before making the step up to the full 11-man IAFL in 2010. They played in the Shamrock Bowl Conference until 2017, when they dropped down to the IAFL 1 Conference where they were runners-up in the Bowl two years running.

They also represented Ireland against the Brussels Raiders in the Eurobowl in 1988.

Home Ground: Phoenix Park, Dublin 2.

Colours: Green Jerseys, White Pants and White Helmet with Orange and Green Stripes.

Founded in 1984 in Phoenix Park, Dublin 2. Played in Inagural Shamrock Bowl in 1986, and were the most successful side in the early years of the IAFL, winning four Shamrock Bowl titles and representing Ireland in the Eurobowl competition for the Champions of Europe’s National Leagues. They played their last season in 1993, losing the Shamrock Bowl to rivals Dublin Tornadoes.
