Recap
It was a game of two halves to borrow an expression from English soccer as the Green Bay Blizzard went 34-0 up at haltime only to see the lead whittled down to 34-25 at the final buzzer. Green Bay Quarterback Jack Sheehan ran in the first TD from 11 yards and passed for another in the first quarter. Keyshaun caught two TD’s in the second quarter and Toren Young ran in a fifth TD for the Blizzard.
The Knight Hawks picked up in the second half, shutting out the Blizzard and scoring on a 3-yard pass from Frank Brown to Elad Covaliu in the third. The fourth quarter was nervous for the hosts as Vegas scored two more TDs from Elad Covaliu and Desmond Epps receptions either side of a Nolan Kohorst Field Goal. [Reference: 21]
