Report

Three Baseball matches from the Northern Ireland Baseball League were played at Ravenhill, home of Ulster Rugby, during 1942, in aid of Charity.

The Mid-West Giants won two of these, against Texas Terrors & Kentucky Wildcats, whilst the Californian Eagles beat the New York Lions in the other match.

Teams in the Northern Ireland Baseball League were made up of US Air Force, Navy & Army men stationed in Northern Ireland during World War II, and represented different regions in the United States of America.

Report

The Northern Ireland Baseball League of 1943 was played among US Air Force, Navy & Army Men stationed in Northern Ireland during World War II.

The NIBL itself was 10-team League. There was also an 8th US Air Corps League, which was won by the Mustangs 2 games to 1 over the Dodgers.
