History
Belfast Wolves were the second team created as part of the Belfast Baseball Association when in 2004 they joined the Belfast North Stars and 8 Greater-Dublin-Area-based teams in the Irish Baseball League. They finished with a respectable 4-14 record on their first season, ending in 7th place of 10 teams. In 2005 the League was split halfway between a Championship (Upper League) and Trophy (Lower League) and after finishing 8th of 9 teams were placed in the Trophy section where they improved on their 1-7 first-half start to complete the Trophy in an even 4-4 record. Teams in the Trophy section were placed in the new Baseball Ireland B League in 2006 with the Dublin teams made B teams of their A League Dublin counterparts. After a 1-6 season where they finished 1-6 and fourth place of four teams they folded.
