History
Trojans were one of the newer teams created in the Irish Baseball League in the early to mid-2000s as the league expanded rapidly from 4 to 10 teams by 2004. In the Trojans first season (2004) they forfeited 8 games but still managed to win 3 – enough to place them 9th out of 10, and above Tigers. In 2005 the IBL was split halfway through the season between an Championship (Upper League) and Trophy (Lower League) and after finishing 6th with 3 wins from 8 games the Trojans were placed in the Trophy section where they won a further one game but forfeited 6 of the other 7 scheduled to finish on minus one point and in last place. After the season the Trophy teams were made B Teams of the Championship teams and placed in the new Baseball Ireland B League.
