American Football

Passball was a hybrid version of Arena Football and 11v11 outdoors football, played in England from the late 1980s to late 1990s. It featured 40-yard outdoor grass fields with 8-yard endzones and 7v7 in number of players. It was full tackle football, but like Arena Football in USA the emphasis was on passing rather than running with a minimum number of passes required to either score a touchdown or the ball was turned over within a set number of downs (attempts), instead of the standard 4-downs to make 10-yards in 11v11 Outdoor Gridiron Football.
