Report

The Pacific Cup was a Legends Football League Inter-League game between the LFL Canada team BC Angels and LFL US team Seattle Mist in 2012, which Seattle won. The Mist won the game the following year as well against Los Angeles Temptation in an off-season LFL US game. Both games were played in December.

Legends Football League was a Ladies 7v7 Indoor (Arena) Football league where the players wore very little in terms of protective clothing.

The Super 8 Football League is a cross-border Arena (8v8 Indoor) Football League, that plays primarily in Southern California (USA) and Baja California (Mexico), whiile also playong tournaments with teams from Northern California, Texas and Nevada.

Duo Sports Thundercats won against West Texas Buccaneers, who defeated Vegas Black in the other game played in the Super 8 Football League Outdoor season in 2020. The Final Game was played on 25 July 2020, two weeks late, with Las Vegas Black defeating Duo Sports Thundercats 14-2, meaning all three teams finished tied on 1-1-0.

About the Super 8 Football League

The Super 8 Football started in 2010 when the San Diego Thundercats and Astros Mexicali participated in an Arena (8-v-8 Indoor American Football) Football game in Mexicali, Mexico.

Since then there has been a League straddling the border in Baja California (Mexico) and California & Nevada (United States of America), with a US West Coast League added in 2015.

In 2020, to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Super 8 Football League, the League added an Outdoor 8-Man League with teams in San Diego & Sacramento (California), El Paso (Texas) and Las Vegas (Nevada).

The Autumn (Otoño) season in the LEXFA (Lega Extrema de Futbol Americano) in Mexico was won by Cougars HD in 2013, Demonios Showtime in 2016, Legionarios in 2017 and Spartans CDMXin 2019.

LEXFA is an Arena (8v8 Indoor) version of American Football that has become quite popular in Mexico. A team called the Irish, who used the Notre Dame Fighting Irish logo played in a lower division.

After four of six rounds in the OMFA Mexico Pro League in 2010 Jets de Balbuena and Búfalos de Toluca were out on top in the Grupo Verde (Red Group) with 4-0 Wins-Losses Records, and in the Grupo Rojo (Red) Conference, Horda Dorada (Golden Horde) were in first place, also with a 4-0 record, with Frailes del Tepeyac (Friars) in second on a 3-1 record.

The League was down four teams on 2009 after gaining two teams in Forajidos, Panteras de Cuernevaca and Zorros de Xalapa and losing seven teams in Emperadores Aztecas de Texcoco, Diablos del Sol Aguascalientes, Venados Cuernavaca, Cherokees Culhuacan, Rayos SME Demonios de Naucalpan and Bandidos.

Report

Búfalos de Toluca won the 3rd edition of the OMFA Pro League (Organisation Mexicano de Futbol Americano), gaining revenge in the Final against Jets de Balbuena, winning 21-20. The Jets were the only team to have defeated the Búfalos when triumphing 24-14v on the Final day of the regular season, taking the Regular Season Championship, after both teams finished 7-1 (Wins-Losses).

Búfalos de Toluca defeated Zorros de Xalapa 21-14 in the first semi-final, while Titanes de Lomas Verdes fell victim to the Jets de Balbuena in the other by a score of 24-6. In all nine teams took part in the third season of OMFA Pro, down by three on 2010 after the loss of Panteras Negras (Black Panthers), Gigantes de Querétaro and Panteras de Cuernevaca.
