Report

The Irish Juniors had an excellent Tournament, only losing 14-12 to Team USA, who were made up of players from US Air Force bases in England, before letting in three late unanswered touchdowns. They also shocked the English Senior Team, winning 6-0. [Reference: 1]

Ireland’s Seniors fared less well, losing 18-0 to England, and 53-0 to Team USA, who showed the gulf in class, and also giving an indication of how good the Ireland Juniors had played. [Reference: 1]
