The FXFL or Fall Experimental Football League was a AAA American Football League which drew crowds in the region of 1,500 (Omaha Mammoths v Blacktips, 16 October 2014]

It operated for two seasons, with one team, the Blacktips, playing a half schedule, away from home, both seasons.

Brooklyn Bolts were the top team both seasons.

The 2020 American Football Ireland Season was cancelled on 4 April 2020, a couple of weeks after a revised, shortened season schedule of 6 matches per team was brought in due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic. [Ref: 12]

The AFI board made the decision to cancel the season in its entirety due to two main reasons: The uncertainty around when the pandemic would end, making it unlikely a schedule will be published in time for the teams to prepare for the season, and also the probablity of the unavailability of ambulance cover at matches.

The AFI board did, however, state the possibility of running a 2 to 3 week invitational tournament at the end of summer for clubs that wish to take part, making the possibilty of some form of kitted football possible in 2020. [Ref: 11]

The AFI board did, however, state the possibility of running a 2 to 3 week invitational tournament at the end of summer for clubs that wish to take part, making the possibilty of some form of kitted football possible in 2020. [Ref: 11]

About

The Trinity Professional Spring Football League was intended to start play in 2018, but had only held tryouts for 3 teams. Start of play was pushed back to 2018, but again only three tryouts for teams were held. On September 11, 2019, the League’s Website said it was being upgraded and would be back soon, but has so far not materialised. [Reference: 5-6]

The North American Football League was a proposed Spring American Football League that was to begin play in 2016, with 8 teams, all located in the Eastern Half of the USA.

The Leagues owners, however, were arrested and charged with Grand Theft for taking $150,000 from an investor, without ever having the intention to start the League, according to prosecutors. The League never started in Spring 2016, and there was a no-show at its own try-outs.

Christopher White (46) and his wife, Tracy (47), from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, were charged by Bay County, Fla. deputees, with assistance from the Rutherford County Sheriff’s office, of theft of $100,000 from the victim, who had said she had begun a relationship with Christopher White in 2010, and he had convinced her to invest in the League and an associated production company.

The NWWCAFL was won by the Cheshire Cats, 16-0 against the Prestatyn Panthers, after dropping only one game all season. The Panthers had won away against the Caernarvon Centurions in the Wild-Card Round, after both finished level on 3-3 record during the regular season. The Buckly Hangmen finished last, with just one win from 6 during the regular season, and losing 80-8 to the eventual winners, the Cheshire Cats, in the Playoffs.

About

The North West & welsh Counties American Football League was a short-lived Independent Welsh League (with one team in neighbouring Cheshire) that made up the fourth level of American Football in Wales at the time – the other teams played in the three levels of the Budweiser League, the main British American Football League at time.
