Aside from the traditional 11-a-side American Football Leagues, and the Lingerie/Legends Football Leagues (7-a-side) there is also 8-a-side Arena/Indoor Football Leagues played by Ladies. 8-a-side Arena/Indoor American Football was introduced to help smaller towns host Pro American Football, and it was inevitable that Ladies League would develop too.
