Belfast SpartansCarrickfergus Cougars trailed 6-7 after Hollowell scored for the Belfast Spartans in the first half, which the Spartans converted. Soon after the restart Hollowell added his second Touchdown of the day to make it 13-6 to Belfast. With two minutes left on the clock Carrickfergus hit back, scoring a touchdown which was converted for two points after they ran in the extra point attempt to give Cougars a 14-13 lead. The Spartans replied immediately, as they marched right down the field, moving the ball 50 yards to set up a potential winning field goal attempt, which was charged down, giving the Cougars victory by the slenderest of margins.
