Glen Webster (also referred to as Gary Webster) had the honour of scoring the first ever Touchdown in an Irish Gridiron (American Football) International versus Wirral Wolves of England on March 16, 1986 in a St. Patrick’s Festival match held before a 2,000-strong crowd in Stradbook Rugby Ground, Blackrock. Dublin Celts won the game.
