In a highly competitive European Federation of American Football European Championships B-Group in Amiens-Picardie in france in 2004, the Great Britain won two closely contested matches against Russia (24-21) and France (18-17) and in between had an easier win against Spain, to finish in first place and qualify for the A-Group in Malmö, Sweden in 2005.
