Biography

Born: Galway, Ireland, 1 March 1992.

College: International (Ireland); Lindenwood University (USA).

Professional Career: Connacht Rugby (Pro 12 Rugby); New England Free Jacks (Major League Rugby, 2019); Aviators (The Spring League 2021); Panthers Wroclaw (European League of Football 2021); Hamilton Tiger-Cats (Canadian Football League Preseason 2022)

Former Connacht Rugby player Tadgh Leader was born in Galway, Ireland. At the age of 15 he and his brother Darragh headed out to kick some Rugby balls at their local pitch on Christmas Day. His dad, a former Galwegians RFC Rugby player made a bet with them that they could not kick the ball over the bars from the halfway line. Both Tadgh and his brother Darragh won €50 each.

Tadgh went on to play Rugby Professionally for Connacht and Darragh now lives in USA where he coaches at Clemson University Tigers. Tadhg suffered a number of injuries during his last few years at Connacht and after playing in Italy he ended up studying in USA and playing for both New England Free Jacks in Major League Rugby and making his Test debut for USA Eagles Rugby Union National Team.

Tadgh was signed up to play another year of Rugby Union in 2021 when the kicker started kicking American Footballs for fun. People took notice and said he should try out for American Football teams and so he went off to San Diego where he was kicking alongside Super Bowl-winning athletes. Unsure of his own ability he asked John Carney, who has 23 years of experience kicking Footballs and Carney said he could mix it with the NFL players.

Before long Leader found himself playing for the Aviators in The Spring League in USA. The Aviatiors, one of four teams based in Indianapolis, a COVID-19 Pod and one of two Pods in the 8-team league in 2021 finished with an 0-6 record in 2021. On May 7 versus Alphas Tadgh Leader scored the first points of his American Football career kicking a Field Goal to make the score Aviators 3 Alphas 7 at Halftime.

After spending Spring in Indianapolis with the Aviators Tadgh signed for Panthers Wroclaw in the European League of Football, making his debut on August 1 in a 31-33 loss at Cologne Centurions. Tadhg scored a 35-yard Field Goal in that game to make the score 16-7 [References: 7-8] On August 22 he kicked a 52-yard Field Goal, his personal highlight in a 30-24 victory at Hamburg Sea Devils [References: 9-10]. The Hamburg game was his fourth of the ELF season [References: 11]. Panthers Wroclaw finished the season with three straight wins to finish on 6-4 and reached the Playoffs where they lost to Hamburg Sea Devils 27-30.

In March 2022 Leader signed for Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League, scoring the winning Field Goal with seconds left in the Ti-Cats opening preseason game versus Montreal Alouettes. After their second and last preseason game of the 2022 season where Leader sat on the bench and did not feature, Tadgh was released. [References: 15-21]

About X League 2022

An all new start for the Legends Football League (also known as the Lingerie Football League) in 2022 as a rebrand to the X League and eight new teams sees an eight-week schedule with one game per week (for a total of two games per team) before the top four reach the playoffs and the X Cup 2022. The X League is a rival league to the Women’s National Football Conference, the NFL of Women’s Football, which plays for the IX Cup. The big differences are that the X League is 7v7 Arena Indoor Football versus the WNFC’s standard 11v11 Outdoor American Football, and the lack of protective clothing or knee pads that the X League players wear, although the 2022 edition of this Alternative League sees the gimmick of women wearing little in the way of clothing covered up another little bit more. It is also positioning itself almost entirely in the Western USA, whereas the other AAA Alternative League to the NFL/WNFC in 2022, the USFL is based almost entirely in the Eastern USA. Recap

The American Football Verband Deutschland (AFVD) German Bundesliga 1 1992 German Bowl was won by Düsseldorf Panther, the oldest continually-operating American Football team in both Germany and Europe (founded 1978 – Reference: 8). The Panther were 1983, 1984 and 1986 Champions and their opponents in the German Bowl XIV were Munich Cowboys, founded 1979, who were appearing in their first ever Final having gone 14-0 during the regular season and defeated Monheim Sharks and Cologne Crocodiles in the Playoffs. Düsseldorf Panther had eliminated Bad Homburg Falken and North Conference Champions Berlin Adler in the playoffs. Also qualifying for postseason were Noris Rams and Regensburg Royals. Cologne Bears, Stuttgart Scorpions and Darmstadt Diamonds were all relegated to the GBL 2 North and South, and were replaced by Hamburg Silver Eagles, Solingen Hurricanes, Hanau Hawks and Rothenburg Knights bringing the total number of teams in the GBL 1 for 1993 up to 16. [References: 1-3]

In 1993, Munich Cowboys finally won that first German Bowl, defeating Cologne Crocodiles 42-36 in overtime after a 13-0-1 season, again undefeated, but with one tie that year. The Cowboys had beaten Hamburg Silver Eagles and Berlin Adler on their way to the Championship Game, while Northern Conference Champions Cologne had eliminated Noris Rams and Düsseldorf Panther. Other playoff qualifiers in 1993 were Hanau Hawks and Rothenburg Knights. After the season Monheim Sharks, Dortmund Giants, Badener Greifs and Bad Homburg Falken were all demoted to their respective GBL 2 League and were replaced by Braunschweig Lions, who would go on to become one of the most successful of all German American Football Teams, winning eleven German Bowls by 2018. Also promoted from GBL 2 South were Erding Bulls and Allgäu Comets while Kempten Comets disbanded, leaving the GBL 1 at 14 teams for 1994. [References: 4-5]

The 1994 season featured Inter-locking schedules between the GBL 1 North and GBL 1 South, with each team playing two Inter-Conference games in total versus teams from the opposite Conference. Düsseldorf Panther regained the German Bowl they won in 1992, triumphing 27-17 in the Championship Game versus Northern Conference Champions Berlin Adler. The Panther had eliminated Noris Rams and defending Champions Munich Cowboys in the playoffs while Berlin Adler had defeated Regensburg Royals and Cologne Crocodiles on their way to the Bowl. Also appearing in the playoffs in 1994 were Southern Conference Champions Hanau Hawks, surprisingly eliminated in the Quarter-Finals by Cologne and also Braunschweig Lions. Relegated at the end of the year were Allgäu Comets who struggled in their first year in the top flight and disbanded after nine games, and Solingen Hurricanes. [References: 6-7]

To give the relative strength of Ireland’s National team, the Leprechauns at this time, the following November (3rd November 1995), played Hanau Hawks, who had won the GBL 1 South Championship on a 12-2 record, and lost by only a 6-19 scoreline. [References: 9-10]

Recap

Louisiana Swashbucklers failed at the final hurdle for the second straight year in their quest to add a fourth Championship Title in team history. Albany Panthers won 69-48 before an attendance of 7,843 in Albany [References: 3]. Albany were 24-27 behind at halftime but successfully contained the Bucs offense for the duration of the second half, outscoring their opponents 41-13 in the second period [References: 3].

It was Louisiana’s fifth straight appearance in a title game [References: 3]. The first two appearances were in the Intense Football League in 2007 and 2008 which they won [References: 3]. They then appeared in both the 2009 and 2010 Southern Indoor Football League Championship games, winning the SIFL title in 2009 [Reference: 3], but losing 13-68 to Columbus Lions in the 2010 Championship Game. [References: 2]

It was Albany’s first appearance in a Championship Game and they won by defeating both the 2009 SIFL Champions (Columbus Lions) and 2009 SIFL Champions (Louisiana Swashbucklers) in the Playoffs. [References: 2-3]

About the SIFL 2011

The 2011 season was the third, and last, season of the Southern Indoor Football League. The season featured 16 teams, aligned in five divisions accross the Southern States of USA and up into Pennsylvania in the Northeast. For 2012 the SIFL merged with American Indoor Football Association to form American Indoor Football. The SIFL was an Arena Indoor Football League – 8v8 American Football played Indoors on a converted Ice Hockey rink with 50 yard field and two 8 yard endzones. Teams have five downs (attempts) in which to score (three of which must be passing plays) before the ball is turned over.

Week 7 Recap (23-24 April 2022)

Green Bay Blizzard’s Jack Sheehan, surely an Irish connection there somewhere, scored the team’s opening touchdown on an 11-yard run, and passed for another in the first quarter, with Keyshaun Taylor catching two TD’s in the second quarter and Toren Young running in a fifth as the Blizzard went into the break 34-0 up at halftime only to see Vegas Knight Hawks pull back to 34-25 in the second half before the buzzer sounded. For a full report click on the game link in the Schedule. Blizzard remain 2-4 at the foot of the Eastern Conference.

Elsewhere there were victories for Sioux Falls Storm (49-27 versus Bay Area Panthers); Quad Cities Steamwheelers (36-17 at Bismarck Bucks); defending Champions Massachusetts Pirates who take sole ownership of the Eastern Conference lead with a 36-22 defeat of Iowa Barnstormers; Frisco Fighters who defeated Duke City Gladiators 42-41 in a close Southwest rivalry match-up and Tucson Sugar Skulls who won 72-62 versus Northern Arizona Wranglers in an all-Arizona shootout. [References: 16-21]

Week 8 Recap (29 April-1 May 2022)

Massachusetts Pirates dropped their second game of the season 44-46 to Vegas Knight Hawks to fall to 4-2 as they just failed to take advantage of Frisco Fighters 35-49 loss to Arizona Rattlers as the Fighters fell to 5-2. The two results meant the Eastern Conference title race was blown wide open with Quad Cities Steamwheelers from Illinois defeating Green Bay Blizzard from Wisconsin 49-31 and Sioux Falls Storm from South Dakota winning 50-47 versus Iowa Barnstormers. With both the Steamwheelers and Storm improving to 4-3 and the Barnstormers on 3-3 there was no more than one loss between the top five teams in the East. [References: 1-16]

In the Western Conference Arizona Rattlers continue to march on, going to 6-0 with that victory over Eastern Conference leaders Frisco Fighters. Northern Arizona Wranglers (4-2) made it an Arizona 1-2 with a 65-34 defeat of Bay Area Panthers (1-6) while Tucson Sugar Skulls 42-41 win over Duke City Gladiators (2-5) from Albuquerque in New Mexico meant it was 1-2-3 for Arizona. San Diego Strike Force moved above the Gladiators with a 38-28 victory over North Dakota’s Bismarck Bucks (3-4) in an Inter-Conference match-up. With Vegas (3-4) winning against Massachusetts Pirates it was a good weekend for Western Conference teams, winning the Inter-Conference match-ups three to nothing. [References: 1-16]

Recap NFL 2021

Los Angeles Rams won their second ever NFL Super Bowl title and their first as a Los Angeles team on February 13th 2021 after defeating Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 at SoFi Stadium in downtown Los Angeles in what was effectively a home game for the Rams.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford and Tackle Aaron Donald starred for the team as they came from behind to win in the last few minutes. The Rams went 0-3 in the preseason, and looked destined to finish behind early pacesetters Arizona Cardinals in the NFC West, but overhauled the Glendale team in the last few weeks.

They then defeated  the Cardinals 34-11 in the Wildcard Playoffs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 30-27 in the Divisional Playoffs, in what was to be Buccaneers legendary Quarterback Tom Brady’s last game, and then downed the San Francisco 49ers 20-17 in the Conference Championship Game.

Los Angeles Rams took the lead in the first quarter through Matthew Stafford connecting with Odell Beckham Jr for a 22 yard touchdown, but in a defensive battle during the first quarter the Cincannati Bengals could not convert a great one handed catch by Ja’Marr Chase in the red zone, and had to settle for a Field Goal in the last minute of the first quarter leaving the score 7-3 to the Rams at the whistle. End of the 1st Quarter: Los Angeles Rams 7 Cincinnati Bengals 3 Another great catch by Odell Beckham Jr brought the Rams into the redzone in the second quarter. On the next play Cooper Kupp caught the ball unmarked in the corner of the endzone from Stafford for a 13-3 lead. The point after snap was mishandled by Hecker and recovered by the Bengals. The Bengals responded with a deep pass from Joe Burrow to Mixon to within 11 yards. Two plays later Higgins caught a TD pass in the  endzone from Joe Mixon, the first TD pass by Mixon in the NFL in five years, to bring the Bengals to within 3 points. Towards the end of the half, Odell Beckham Jr had to leave the game with a knee injury while trying to catch the ball over the middle unmarked, a big blow to the Rams. With two minutes to go, Stafford, under pressure from the Bengals three-man rush threw deep to the endzone to Jefferson, a risky pass which was intercepted by Jesse Bates in the endzone for a big turnover for Cincinnati. Cincinnati’s next drive ended with Burrow being sacked, forcing the Bengals to punt. The Rams had 30 seconds to go deep, but after three deep passes were forced to punt and the Bengals took the knee with 6 seconds to go. Halftime: Los Angeles Rams 13 Cincinnati Bengals 10 12 seconds into the third quarter a 75 yard touchdown pass from Joe Burrow to Tee Higgins put the Bengals 17-13 up although as facemask penalty against the Bengals was missed by the officials. 10 seconds later the Bengals immediately intercepted a Stafford pass on the next drive as the momentum shifted suddenly to the Bengals. The Bengals made a risky 4th and 1 conversion which paid off on the Rams 20 yard line on the next drive, but as big play by Donald who sacked Burrow on the 20 yard line left the Bengals on 4th and 12. Taking the Field Goal, the Bengals rookie kicker Evan McPherson put them 20-13 up from the 38 yard line. The Rams settled for a 51 yard Field Goal on the next drive after a trick play on third down failed. Stafford limped out of the game with 3 minutes left in the 3rd quarter after the Bengals had been put under pressure in another blow for the Rams. Awuzie had a minute earlier been injured for the Bengals defense, which was significant as he was the Bengals best player all season. Burrow was sacked five times in two series after just the one sack all game, forcing the Bengals to punt with one minute to go in the third quarter. End of 3rd Quarter Los Angeles Rams 16 Cincinnati Bengals 20. Burrow limped off at the beginning of the fourth quarter after being sacked for the seventh time. The following Rams drive was a quick 3 and out forcing them to punt. Trying to protect Burrow, the Bengals took to the running game. Chris Evans caught a first down on the next drive for Cincinnati. Tyler Boyd dropped a crucial pass on 3rd and 9 preparing for the hit and taking his eyes off the ball, having not dropped a pass all season. Bengals punted and the Rams took over with a fair catch. With less than six minutes left in the game the pressure was on Matthew Stafford who had the most fourth quarter comebacks in the NFL in 2021. On 4th and 1 the Rams Head Coach Sean McVay made a big call going for first down which paid off. Another big first down was made at the Bengal 49 yard line with under 4 minutes to go. Kupp caught a big pass on the 23 yard line as the Rams went for the go ahead touchdown. Akers took the ball up the middle for a first and 10 on the 8 yard line with 2 minutes to go. Rams failed on 3rd and goal, but a holding penalty was called on the Bengals, giving the Rams an automatic first down. Stafford threw to Kupp in the endzone on the next play, however two flags on the play offset each other meant repeat first own. More flags on the next play were called on the Bengals, putting the ball on the one yard line. Stafford tried a quarterback sneak on first down for no yards. Cincinnati took a time out at 1:29. 2nd and Goal Kupp catches the ball in the endzone for a 23-20 Rams lead. Cincinnati took over at the 25 yard line with 1:25 and two timeouts left. Bengals gained 17 yards on the next play. Boyd caught the ball on the 49 yard line with 1 minute left. Burrow went deep on the next play but was unsuccessful. 48 seconds left. Cincinnati tried running on 3rd and 1 and gained no yards. 4th and 1 with no timeouts left Bengals, Burrow threw it away to avoid being sacked under pressure from Aaron Donald. Cincinnati let the clock run out. Final Score: Los Angeles Rams 23 Cincinnati Bengals 20.

Weekly Recaps

Week 1 (16-18 April 2022)

Birmingham Stallions opened the 2022 USFL season, the first since 1985, with a 28-24 victory over New Jersey Generals, once owned back in the 1980s by former US President Donald Trump. Despite a lawsuit from the original owners claiming trademark violations, the league went ahead, and the home team Stallions won the first of four opening weekend games played at their Protective Stadium (it was planned for all games to be played at Protective Stadium throught the season as part of the hub model). Other games saw wins for Houston Gamblers (17-12 versus Michigan Panthers), New Orleans Breakers (23-17 versus Philadelphia Stars) and Tampa Bay Bandits (17-3 versus Pittsburgh Maulers). [References: 13-14]

Week 2 (23-25 April 2022)

In the North Division New Jersey Generals improved to 1-1 with their first win of the season in a low-scoring game versus Michigan Panthers (10-6 to the Generals) and Philadelphia Stars likewise got their first win, 30-23 against Pittsburgh Maulers (0-2) in a Pennsylvania derby. The South Division, dominant during week 1, saw Birmingham Stallions make full usage of the home field advantage to move to 2-0 with a 33-28 defeat of Houston Gamblers, while New Orleans Breakers joined them on 2-0 with a huge 34-3 victory over Tampa Bay Bandits. [References: 13-14]

Week 3 (30 April-2 May 2022)

The South Division match-up between Tampa Bay Bandits and Houston Gamblers (both 1-1 coming into the game) was the closest of the weekend with Bandits prevailing 27-26. Birmingham Stallions were the only remaining undefeated team after defeating New Orleans Breakers, who were also undefeated coming into the game, 22-13. The North Division also saw a match-up between the two joint-division leaders (on wins) with New Jersey Generals winning 24-16 versus Philadelphia Stars. Birmingham Stallions made full use of homefield advantage winning all four games at Protective Stadium in May, defeating Tampa Bay Bandits, Phiadelphia Stars, Michigan Panthers and Pittsburgh Maulers on their way to 7-0. Second place in the South Division was occupied by New Orleans Breakers on 5-2 who went 3-1 during May with only a loss to New Jersey Generals spoiling the record which included wins over Houston Gamblers, Michigan Panthers and Pittsburgh Maulers. Tampa Bay Bandits picked up a win over Michigan Panthers to go 3-4 in an otherwise disappointing May for the Florida team. Houston Gamblers lost all four games in May to be left out of playoff contention on 1-6. [References: 13-14]

The North Division saw New Jersey Generals assured of a playoff spot with their six game winning streak to week 7 leaving them on 6-1. Philadelphia Stars were almost assured of a playoff spot also standing on 4-3 as they defeated Michigan Panthers, Tampa Bay Bandits and Houston Gamblers in May. Michigan Panthers lost four in a row as the team from the City of Big Cats were joined on 1-6 by Pittsburgh Maulers who managed their first win with a narrow 21-20 victory over Houston Gamblers to also stand on 1-6 at the end of May. June 2022 Recap (Weeks 8-10)

After narrowly defeating New Orleans Breakers 10-9 to record their eighth successive victory, Birmigham Stallions suffered a big shock in week 9 with a 17-15 loss to Houston Gamblers, only the Gamblers second victory of the season. The Stallions bounced back with a 21-18 triumph over Tampa Bay Bandits on the Final day of the Regular Season to finish 9-1 and capture the South Division title. New Orleans breakers joined the Stallions in the playoffs with a victory over Tampa Bay Bandits in week 9, but suffered a loss to the surging Houston Gamblers in the last week to finish 6-4. Tampa Bay Bandits won 13-3 versus Houston Gamblers in week 9 as the Bandits secured third place in the division with the win. Houston Gamblers finished 3-7 with those two shock victories against playoff-bound Birmigham and New Orleans to put a gloss on what was a disappointing season for the Texas team. [References: 13-14]

The North Division Champions were New Jersey Generals who finished off the regular season with victories over division rivals Pittsburgh Maulers, Michigan Panthers and Philadelphia Stars to complete a nine-game winning streak to end the regular season after that first loss to Birmingham Stallions in week 1. The Generals were joined in the playoffs by Philadelphia Stars who defeated Michigan Panthers and Pittsburgh Maulers either side of the loss to New Jersey in week 9 to finish on 6-4. The battle for the unenviable crown of first draft pick in 2023 went to Pittsburgh Maulers who finished 1-9 after a five game losing streak to end season including a 21-33 defeat to Michigan Panthers who finished 2-8 with the victory. Playoff Preview

New Jersey Generals head into the Playoffs on the back of a nine-game winning streak which saw the Generals finish the regular season 9-1. The Garden State team’s only loss came in week 1 when they lost to host city team for the hub model in 2022, Birmigham Stallions 24-28. The Stallions themselves finished on 9-1 also, with a shock loss to the surprising Houston Gamblers in the penultimate week of the regular season. The Generals play North Division runners-up Philadelphia Stars (6-4) who they beat twice during the regular season in the Playoffs while Birmingham Stallions also meet a 6-4 team the New Orleans Breakers, who they also defeated twice during the regular season. All playoff games shall be played at the Professional Football Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio, the birthplace just over 100 years ago of the National Football League (NFL) the Major Professional Football League. Playoffs (26 June 2022)

Philadelphia Stars shocked New Jersey Generals 19-14 ending a nine-game winning-streak for the Generals. New Jersey had defeated the Stars twice during the regular season. Philadelphia meet Birmingham Stallions in the USFL Championship Game after the Stallions triumphed 31-17 over New Orleans Breakers in the other Semi-Finals. [References: 13-14]

USFL Championship Game 2022 (3 July 2022)

Birmingham Stallions triumphed over Philadelphia Stars 33-30 thanks to two inportant interceptions in the fourth quarter – one of which was returned for a 46yard Touchdown by S Wright III and three more touchdowns as well as two Field Goals by R Aubrey. A Stars fightback in the 4th Quarter was ended by first Wright III’s interception with 3:03 left on the clock and then C McFarland’s timely interception with 28 seconds left which ended the game. About the USFL 2022

The United States Football League (USFL) 2022 is a reincarnation of the successful Spring alternative to the National Football League (NFL) which ran from 1983 to 1985 before an unsuccessful bid to move to an autumn season and taking the NFL head-on [See link to USFL 1983-1985 below for more details]. The 2022 version shall be played entirely within a Hub City in Birmingham, Alabama, a model first used by The Spring League (TSL) from 2016 to 2021, before that league went into partnership with Fox Sports and bought out the naming rights and logos of the USFL 1983-1985 and renaming itself USFL for 2022 [See link below for The Spring League for more details] . The USFL 2022 published a 10-game schedule culminating in Semi-Finals and Championship Game between the top two teams in each Division [10].

REPORT

Washington Huskies won the National Collegiate Athletic Association Football Division 1A title after triumphing 34-14 over Michigan Wolverines in the Rose Bowl, a match-up between the Pacific-10 Conference Champions and the Big 10 Champions (Upper Midwest) in Pasadena, California. At the end of the season the huskies were 12-0 (Won-Loss), tied with Miami Hurricanes (also 12-0) but got the vote from the Press, who decided the National Champions by vote in the absence of a National Playoff system. Washington Huskies had won the Pacific 10 Conference and #6 ranked Michigan Wolverines the Big 10 Conference. The #2 Hurricanes defeated #15 ranked Nebraska Cornhuskers 22-0 in the Orange Bowl in Nebraska’s first shutout for 18 years in what was almost like a home game for Miami, being played in the city; Miami had won the Big East Conference and Nebraska the Big 8 (Prairie States) Conference.

In the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas, #4 Florida State Seminoles, an Independent, had defeated #13 Texas A&M Aggies, the SWC (South Western Conference) Champions, 10-2. In another match-up between an Independent and a Conference Champion, #12 Notre Dame Fighting Irish won the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans, Louisiana with a 39-28 victory over #7 Florida Gators, the SEC (South Eastern Conference) Champions. Another Bowl featuring a Conference Champion was the Holiday Bowl, featuring the WAC (Western Athletic Conference) Champions, #24 Brigham Young Cougars and #10 Iowa Hawkeyes, which finished in a 13-all tie; The final Bowl Game featuring Conference Champions saw #17 ACC (Atlantic Coast Conference) Champions Clemson Tigers lose to #8 California Golden Bears 13-37 in the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida.

REPORT

Cannock Chase Giants won the Eastern Conference title ahead of Broncos, whilst Cambridge pulled out after two games. In the Southern Conference, Thunderbolts won the Conference title, with London Gators qualifying for the playoffs in second place, and Exiles finishing in third.

The Thames Valley Thunderbolts and London Gators won through to the Final, where the Thunderbolts confirmed their dominance all season, with a 41-15 victory. Thames Valley Chargers star Ez Charles scored three touchdowns, and a three-point pass in the second quarter to put the ‘Bolts in a commanding lead at the half which they never relinquished.

Charles scored on a 31 yard run before finding Kenroy Barnett and Andy Tilbury with 23-yard and 16-yard TD Passes. Tibury got a hat-trick of his own, with a 22-yard TD Pass from Joe Greenidge in the first quarter, and a 32-yard Interception Return to finish off the scoring. Andy Tait linked up with Andy Falconer for two TD Passes for some consolation for the London Gators.

About Passball and the NPL

The National Passball League was an Arena-style American Football League in the England, played on a smaller field than a regular American Football field, and with a focus on passing (Passball is played on a 40-yard field with two 8-yard endzones, with five downs or attempts to score, three of which must be passing plays, before the ball is turned over). It is seven-a-side.
